On July 29, 2022, Twin Vee PowerCats Co. (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding the matters discussed in Item 8.01 below. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 28, 2022, the Company’s subsidiary, Forza X1, Inc. (“Forza X1”), received notice that the North Carolina Economic investment committee has approved a Job Development Investment Grant providing for reimbursement to Forza X1 of up to $1,367,100 over a twelve year period to establish a new manufacturing plant in McDowell County, North Carolina. To receive the grant, Forza X1 will be required to invest over $10.5 million in land, buildings and fixtures, infrastructure and machinery and equipment by the end of 2025 and to create as many as 170 jobs.
